Continuing the series of my favourite ab exercises we come to one that not many women do. It’s a real shame as this will work and tone the obliques – the muscles on the side of the waist. It also looks kind of bad ass, which is always good in the gym 🙂
- Keep your arms straight and turn from the waist.
- Hold at the bottom for a brief pause, before returning to the top and repeating on the other side.
- Keep the hips as level as possible, there is a tendency to tilt to the side you’re twisting
