Nutrition Tip. Focus On The Big Things

I got asked the other day about macronutrients and fish oils. Which is a fine question to ask.

However, as we talked a bit more, all of our earlier conversation was, well, a bit wasted, when we talked about the day-to-day food.

“Well, I always have the lunch-deal: a brown bread sarnie, tiny bag of crisps, and a little cake or just a juice, and with my tea only 1-2 biscuits”

I’ll be blunt here – you have no reason to worry about macronutrients, fish oils and vitamins if you’re eating crap!

There’s a lot of what’s called obvious crap, and, if we’re honest with ourselves, we know exactly what it is.

Biscuits, crisps, ice cream and cans of soft drink. We justify them by saying it’s only one but that only one contains several hundred calories and loads of sugar.

So it’s time to be honest with ourselves and accept that the first step to improving how we eat is to just cut the crap!
