Going to start a quick series of blog posts about some of the most nutritious foods on the planet. Eat more of these and you’ll feel better, look better and be better nutrition-wise 🙂
Let’s start off with avocados, quite possibly the most nutritious fruit ever. Avos have virtually no sugar. They’re high in monounsaturated fats, magnesium, vitamins K, E, B6, C, and if you’re looking for your daily potassium supply, avocados have more potassium than bananas.
For me, avos work as anti-sweets-craving food, as they help even out blood sugar and stop me munching.
Here’s my simple suggestion with avocados that’s perfect first thing in the morning.
I have them with my “lazy porridge” as a quick and filling breakfast. Oats, yogurt, an avocado, all mixed well, so the oats are not dry, sprinkle in some chia seeds, eat slowly and you won’t feel hungry till the afternoon 🙂
